MCM-SF Pop-Up at Umpqua Bank Downtown SF

Hi friends! We’ve been working on a fun project with one of our favorite furniture vendors MCM-SF. MCM-SF got selected to showcase their collection for Umpqua Bank’s “Local Spotlight” program and brought us in to style, determine layout and curate the pieces to use for their lobby display. We’ll be rotating out the display one (or two?) more times through the end of year as pieces sell so if you are in downtown SF be sure to swing by and take a seat :-) For our first “scene” we wanted to create a little reading lounge featuring this Danish Mid-Century Teak Sideboard (still available), this Danish Mid-Century Teak and Canvas Magazine Rack/End Table from BRDR Furbo Spøttrup (still available), a Vintage Kofod-Larsen Recliner (sold) and a few other fun pieces from MCM like those customizable table lamps. Ceramics and some of the other styling accessories are from one of my local favs Gold & Rust in Oakland. Next up, is a fun “dinner party” lounge with some amazing pieces for the holidays so stay tuned.

And if you’re not familiar with MCM-SF, they sell the most beautiful vintage and mid-century modern furniture sourced from Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The company is run by Max and his husband Tony (and their cute dog Eddy) who I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the past few months - they are the best! They exclusively hand select every single piece and make sure to only collect the best quality and most authentic pieces that represent good craftsmanship at its best. They are always getting new pieces in and most are available for custom upholstery if you have something specific in mind or want to create something extra special. Be sure to check out their website or shoot them an email if you’re dreaming up something that’s not on there.

Here’s the specifics on the pop-up. We’d love it if you stopped by if you’re in the area!
